Acceptable Use Policy

This policy covers everyone who uses a Sylenze surface: school staff, parents, investors and Sylenze staff.

You may only use the service for its intended purpose: schools publishing safeguarded event media, and invited families previewing, purchasing and streaming that media. You must not attempt to download, record, unblur, scrape or redistribute content, or to identify a protected pupil from a redacted file.

School staff may only upload recordings the school has the right to hold, and only of events the school organised. Login details must not be shared. We can suspend an account, withdraw content or refuse a purchase where this policy is broken.

This prototype is for demonstration. In production, a breach would be logged on the audit trail and, where a child is involved, reported to the school as the data controller.
